  • College admissions counseling from QuestBridge staff or current Quest Scholars
  • Telementoring with Amherst College students
  • Quest for Excellence awards such as new laptops

The application will be available at the QuestBridge website  and is due on March 27, 2012. As always, it is completely free to apply.

Make sure to visit their website QuestBridge and don't miss out on this great opportunity. Undocumented students this is a great opportunity to make yourself more marketable to colleges and meet great people at great schools. As a QuestBridge National College Match recipient I can assure the legitimacy of the program and how much they have helped me to achieve my dreams.

    1. You should definitely apply! I was doubtful too but I was able to fly to Princeton last summer and through the National College Match I was matched with one of the partner schools and I'm in your same situation. If your still not sure make sure to give QuestBridge a call and let them know your situation, they are more than willing to help you!

  2. okay :) thank you so much.it's great to hear from someone who is in the same position.i ll try then. it is just so hard to find opportunities and programs that don't require you to be a citizen. And also, i was afraid of asking someone because the situation embarrasses me.since this thing said permanent residents sometimes it is implied that you be a citizen. which college/university are you currently attending?

    1. I'm glad to help :) and if that doesn't work out try applying to CTY (Center for Talented Youth http://cty.jhu.edu/) they have some really cool summer programs. CTY is how I went to Princeton last summer. Also don't be discouraged by the price, these programs offer a lot of financial aid for gifted students to attend regardless of citizenship. Currently I'm a high school senior but I will be attending Pomona College because of QuestBridge :) and to answer the other question I would answer non citizen, its better not to lie about these things. Hope that helped!

    1. When you apply undocumented students are considered international so you don't need to worry.

  5. If you're into humanities and social sciences, TASP (for juniors) and TASS (for sophomores) are two free programs at University of Michigan and Cornell University (TASP) and University of Michigan and Indiana University (TASS) that do not ask for citizenship. If you're more of a science person, look into RSI at MIT. All of these programs are insanely competitive, but it doesn't hurt to apply.
